My name is Rachel, and I am currently finishing my senior year in highschool- college could not come sooner. Charlotte is my home, although i've lived in two other places, i've lived here for 13 long years of my 17 year old life. That's in North Carolina, if you happen to be geographically challenged, "or don't have access to a map." My second home is NCSA [a place where I hopefully will go to college] I spent 5 long weeks this summer at film school there and it was a life-changing experience. So many people influenced me and the atmosphere there was something you couldn't create.

So obviously I mentioned film. I love film, particularly film editing is what I want to major in. Now i'll just devour a movie instead of watching it. Its like they've brainwashed me or something. The other form of visual entertainment..well I honestly don't watch too much TV anymore- I definetly used to. Music is my 2nd calling. If I've had a bad day I can just go, sit down, write a song, and all my stress will just go away. Even listening to music calms me down. Believe me, any of my friends can tell you I love my music- I even have the nickname "Ipod" along with quite a few others >.< Anything music or art related will fly with me. Im perfectly happy with painting stages or a canvas and then going and rocking out on my guitar. I also am obsessed with making movies and photography. I take WAY too many pictures. And not just the normal obsessed [the overly obsessed] Ask anyone. O.O Let's see, I've played guitar for about 3 years and piano for 7 and I can't belive how much I've learned in that short period of time. Music is definetly a gift; I just wish I could sing better so I could perform my songs instead of having other people sing them.

I'm what my friends refer to as a "loserface". And i think it defines me- Definetly a geek, ditzy, and definitely loud and different. I just like to have fun and be spontaneous. Perhaps I might be undiagnosed with A.D.D. as well, but thats a whole other story. My friends are who have made me this way. Whether its creating cardboard pizzas, jamming to songs in the car, cooking anything chocolate at all, talking in british accents or just acting like a crackhead- I've done it all 'with a little help from my friends' and I wouldn't be who I am today without them.
